LATAM + GLOBAL MACRO

OUR APPROACH

A wider perspective starts with a clearer process.

FellowIntel aims to reduce misinformation through traceable sources, Latin American context, and explicit distinctions between evidence, interpretation, and uncertainty.

01

Start with verifiable sources.

Every briefing cites identifiable publications. The current edition uses primary and institutional sources; a citation alone does not establish independent corroboration. Access restrictions and review methods are disclosed in the source notebook.

02

Compare claims as well as headlines.

The planned design brings together publisher coverage, public social discussion, and macroeconomic series to examine the same issue from different perspectives. The origin of a claim is distinguished from the evidence supporting it.

03

Separate evidence from interpretation.

Observations, estimates, and forecasts retain their reporting periods and assumptions. Editorial narratives are labeled as analytical propositions and are not invented quotations attributed to individuals or institutions.

04

Weight the quality of evidence.

Popularity, repetition, and virality do not establish truth. Comparison should trace original sources, avoid treating republication as corroboration, and identify disagreements, gaps, and methodological changes.

05

Prioritize LATAM with global context.

Growth, inflation, employment, trade, and social conditions are read through regional and national evidence. Global and Americas-wide statistics retain their geographic labels.

06

Keep editorial responsibility explicit.

Planned agents will assist collection, comparison, verification, and synthesis. Publication should preserve traceability, review, and corrections. The current edition is curated and does not run that automated system.
