Mission & vision
Macro clarity for LATAM. Open understanding for everyone.
A public nonprofit initiative for understanding news, global trends, and narratives through supported evidence. Its purpose is to broaden understanding rather than direct readers toward a partisan position.
Public access and nonprofit purpose
The platform is designed for readers, students, researchers, and communities everywhere. This edition requires no account or subscription, carries no advertising, and shares original editorial content under CC BY 4.0. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy describe access conditions and current information practices.
Three information layers, with distinct roles
Macro data and primary evidence
Official statistics, central banks, regional and international institutions, research, and public documents provide context for growth, inflation, jobs, trade, health, climate, and development.
Coverage from other publishers
Local, regional, and global news portals, agencies, and specialist publications will support comparison of framing, claims, and differences in coverage.
Public social discussion
Authorized access to public posts, discussions, and narrative signals will help examine claims and circulation. These signals do not substitute for factual verification.
An agent system to support understanding
The next stage envisions specialized agents working with provenance and citations. This workflow describes the product design, not a connected system already operating.
- 01
Research

- 02

Group coverage of the same issue and compare claims and framing without treating popularity as truth.
- 03

- 04
Synthesis
Explain news, trends, and narratives in clear language with inspectable references.
- 05
Review and corrections
Preserve editorial accountability, human checks, and traceable changes before and after publication.
Source comparison through a Latin American macro lens
Ground News’s comparison of coverage is a product reference. FellowIntel focuses on LATAM, macro indicators, and connections between news, trends, and narratives. It does not use that service’s ratings or claim affiliation. Ground News
